The Question
Below are 2 videos of a Shaolin Hong Quan form.
One gentleman is performing the form at a slow/medium pace.
The other gentleman is performing the form fast, with whip like movements.
If you visit www.youtube.com ,
Xiao Hong Quan
Shao Hong Quan
you will see people commenting about how this form should be performed.
Is there a proper way?
How should I practice this form?

Shaolin Dahong Quan
This is another video I found.
This form has some interesting movements and postures.
I like the low scooping step.
Notice the last posture, Kung Lek Quan ends the same too.
Nice form.

Zac and Lanai
Heres a pic of Zac and Lanai. Lanai went to the U.S Open in July 2005 and won!!!
I think this picture was taken when she had returned to Australia.
Lanai trains in the Chang Chuan forms and is learning a Nan Chuan form.
Lanai will also be going to the 2006 World Cup on the Gold Coast this year...
(I hope she doesn't read about it here first..)
She won a number of other ISKA (International Sports Karate Association) events and I will detail them at a later date.
I did have them written down somewhere but...who uses paper these days? Not me...
Welcome
Welcome to Zac Walters Shaolin Temple Boxing web log.
